Brighton & Hove Healthwalks Beginner Course Offer

The next series of discounted courses for people wanting to join the Brighton & Hove Healthwalks Scheme for Nordic walking are getting booked up: Wednesdays – FULLY BOOKED 2 to 3.30pm from 12 July to 2 August Sundays – ONE PLACE LEFT !!! 10 to 11.30am from 6 August to 27 August Tuesdays 1.30 to 3pm from 7 September to 28 September. Ashdown Forest Nordic Evening Walk – Sunday 25 June

The next evening walk is planned for Sunday 25 June. Details to be announced. The usual Sunday 10am walks will continue monthly during summer with some evening walks on offer, too. Fitness Session 6 – 3pm this Friday, Brighton

If you’re interested and feel ready to extend your course by moving on to the Fitness level of Nordic walking technique, there are three places available on this session. The price is from £15 per person depending on numbers. It will be two hours long and take place in/aound Castle Hill Nature Reserve, Woodingdean, with a start time of 3pm. Village Green Taster Day – Sunday 28 May

To mark World Nordic Walking this year, a rolling programme of free, small group 45 minute taster sessions will be run on the Greensward village green in East Dean, near Eastbourne, throughout the day on Sunday 28 May. Specialist Nordic walking poles are provided. Sessions will run on the hour every hour from 9am to 5pm. Places are limited on each session, so booking in advance is recommended.
