Ashdown Forest Nordic Walk – Sunday 2 April
The next Ashdown Striders’ Nordic walk will be on Sunday 2 April.
Meet at 10am in Long Car Park for a walk which is a mix of Heath and Woodland. The car park is on the A22 just south of the Wych Cross traffic lights and the Llama Park. There are 2 entrances to the car park.
If coming north on the A22 from Nutley, look out for the brown tourist sign for the Llama Park on the left. The entrances are either side of the sign. Beware a big dip in the carpark if you come in the southern entrance.
If coming up the A475 through Danehill, turn right at the T junction when you get near Wych cross. After passing the Llama Park you will see the back of the tourist sign on your right, car park entrances are either side of the sign.
Boots recommended as quite muddy in places.
Following walks will be about once a month during summer with some evening walks if people are keen to do that again.
