Walk tall naturally with purpose

Nordic Healthwalks in Brighton & Hove

Nordic Healthwalks run on the first and third Wednesday of the month setting off at 1.30pm during Autumn/Winter and at 2pm in Spring/Summer with additional evening walks from May to September.

Nordic Healthwalks are for competent Nordic walkers only, i.e. people who have successfully completed an accredited Nordic walking course to at least the basic technique level and have their own poles.

Routes of varying degrees of difficulty will be used and graded in the same ‘traffic light’ way as the existing local healthwalks are in order to accommodate different ability, fitness and mobility levels.

The first three basic level courses were completed between Wednesday 23 January and Monday 25 February. The first Nordic Healthwalks took place on 20 February. Many Nordic Healthwalkers have also successfully completed the course to the higher Health & Fitness levels.

Booking is now open for a fourth course. Dates will be organised once enough bookings have been received.
