Take a Beginner Course !
Foundation courses for groups of 4 to 6 people consist of four 1.5 hour sessions, usually a week apart. Sessions will take place on weekdays. If you’re interested, let us know your general availability during the week.

The price (poles included) is from £68.00 per person (i.e. £17 a session), depending on numbers.
A minimum of four and a maximum of six places are available on each course. For 6 people, the price is £68pp & for 4 or 5 people, £100pp (i.e. £25 a session).

All sessions need to be completed to reach the ’green traffic light’ foundation level of Nordic walking technique. Poles can be hired for practice in between sessions and bought new. Extra dates will be agreed in case a session is postponed due to the weather and/or if participants extend the course to learn the higher Health (amber) and/or Fitness (red) levels of technique beyond foundation. Applicants need to be ‘walking-fit’ to get a place (a ‘readiness to participate’ questionnaire must be completed beforehand). Full course payment is required before the course starts. Details and prices of courses for one person, two & three people are available on request.
