2008 & 2009

Nordic Walking for Health has been actively involved in the Brighton & Hove TAKEPART International Festival of Sport & Physical Activity (a London Olympics 2012 Legacy project) since it first began in 2008. The Mayor visited the Nordic Walking for Health stall and talked to the volunteer Nordic walkers promoting Nordic walking at the day long launch event. Giving people a taste of Nordic walking at East Sussex events like this spreads the word and leads to courses happening at the different locations used by Nordic Walking for Health. These Read more »
