Walk tall naturally with purpose

Walking Holidays

Nordic Walking for Health now runs taster sessions and full courses for walking holiday visitors to the South Downs in East Sussex, close to and within the eastern section of the newest National Park.

Ideally situated for exploring the outdoors, Riverdale House is an elegant, charming, spacious and homely Bed & Breakfast in a peaceful, rural location with breathtaking views of the Cuckmere Valley. It lies south of Alfriston village that is north of the coastal town of Seaford on the Brighton side of Eastbourne in between the A27 and A259.

Individuals, couples and small groups, including families, can all be catered for.

Full Courses

Four sessions are required for learning basic Nordic walking technique and, to suit you, can be fitted flexibly into your two night/three day stay at Riverdale House. Different locations are used as the course progresses so a car is desirable.

If you’d like more of a flavour of the type of experience you’ll have, read Paula and Sue’s story in the attached feature article published in Coast Magazine in November 2012 and posted on this website with the magazine’s kind permission.

Taster Sessions

If you’d prefer a simple taste of Nordic walking to try it out as just one of the things you can do on your visit, an introductory session can be organised on request.

For further information, including prices for accommodation and Nordic walking, contact Richard & Judy Baker at Riverdale House on 01323 871038, or email info@riverdalehouse.co.uk

Full payment will be required one month prior to your stay.
