Instructed Nordic Walks at the foundation level – 1.30 to 3pm Wednesdays

Weekly, instructed Nordic walks at an easygoing pace are available every Wednesday from 11.45am to 1.15pm, usually taking place in Stanmer Park, Brighton.

These walks are primarily for people living with a long term health condition.

The price will be pro-rata starting from £10 per person if six places are booked. The maximum number of places on each walk is six. Booking is on a first come, first served basis in response to a standard email that is sent out earlier in the week to people who’ve registered interest.

You will be eligible to take part in these walks if you:

  1. have reached the foundation level of Nordic walking technique by successfully completing a four session Nordic walking beginner course with Nordic Walking for Health (or a similar course with an accredited instructor). More information about the different levels of technique is at technique
  2. already Nordic walk but want to brush up your technique on a refresher session and then do it more regularly
  3. used to Nordic walk, haven’t done so for a while and now want to take it up again.
