Instructed Nordic Walks for better exercise – AMs Thursdays or Fridays

If five people sign up to pay in advance, Nordic Walking for Health can offer a series of instructed Nordic walks:

  1. at the Fitness level of technique on Thursday or Friday mornings over a six week period. Locations will vary, depending on the weather, between Stanmer Park, Brighton, Castle Hill Nature Reserve, Woodingdean, Ditchling Beacon, Friston Forest, Exceat and the Seven Sisters Country Park, East Dean. TWO PLACES are AVAILABLE.
  2. at the Health level of technique on Thursday or Friday mornings over a six week period. Locations will vary, depending on the weather, between Stanmer Park, Brighton, Castle Hill Nature Reserve, Woodingdean and Ditchling Beacon. THREE PLACES are AVAILABLE.

Pay:

  1. £105.00 per person in advance for 4 Fitness level two hour walks. These will have to be participated in at some point over the six week period. The price of each walk is, therefore, £26.25. If then wanting to take part in a 5th and/or a 6th walk within the six week period having already completed four walks, the drop-in price per walk is £30.00.
  2. £81.00 per person in advance for 4 Health level 1.5 hour walks. These will have to be participated in at some point over the six week period. The price of each walk is, therefore, £20.25.  If then wanting to take part in a 5th and/or a 6th walk within the six week period having already completed four walks, the drop-in price per walk is £25.00.

Booking a place can be done by email or text. Payment is required by BACS: account details are available on request.

Terms & Conditions

  • to be eligible to take part, participants must have successfully reached the health or fitness level of Nordic walking technique, respectively, as defined by Nordic Walking for Health at levels of technique
  • payment is non-refundable should a participant miss a session having paid in advance (unless in exceptional circumstances, in which case the participant will be able to take part in another walk at some point in time in the future)
  • if a session is cancelled due to adverse weather conditions, a replacement session will be run at the end of that block of walks for those who pay in advance
  • payment is non-refundable if a session is cancelled due to instructor absence in exceptional circumstances
  • dates and locations of walks will be confirmed in advance by email to pre-paying participants
  • poles are available to hire at no extra charge, if requested in advance.
