Multi-Activity Outdoor Trails Network

Summer 2012 Trial trails for Nordic walking and healthwalks were launched in Stanmer Park during the Brighton & Hove TAKEPART International Festival of Sport & Physical Activity from 23 June to 8 July and the Olympic Torch Relay celebrations from 14 to 16 July. 2008 & 2009

Nordic Walking for Health has been actively involved in the Brighton & Hove TAKEPART International Festival of Sport & Physical Activity (a London Olympics 2012 Legacy project) since it first began in 2008. The Mayor visited the Nordic Walking for Health stall and talked to the volunteer Nordic walkers promoting Nordic walking at the day long launch event.
