All legal measures to prevent coronavirus transmission have been removed in England by the UK government. Free Nordic Walking for the over 65s in Adur District – Wednesdays from September 2022

Through its Stronger for Life Scheme, Active Sussex is now offering the over 65s living in the Adur District Council area an opportunity to learn Nordic walking for free in Buckingham Park, Shoreham-by-Sea, from Wednesday 28 September. BEGINNER COURSES – six places available Course 3 12midday to 1.30pm on Wednesdays 7, 14 & 21 December and 4 January. ONLY ONE PLACE LEFT and one reserve place available. BOOKING is now OPEN for this small group fixed date beginner course in the Eastbourne/Seaford area: 10 to 11.30am Fridays 25 November and 2, 9 & 16 December (five places available) 1.30 to 3pm Saturdays 12, 19 & 26 November and 10 December (five places available). The price for a group of three to six participants is £80.00 per person, i.e. £20.00 a session, poles included. Successfully completing a beginner course enables a person to Nordic walk at the foundation level of technique.
