FREE weekly Instructed Nordic Walks on Wednesday PMs
Free Weekly Instructed Nordic Walks from 1.30 to 3pm on Wednesdays The last of the free instructed Nordic walks on this Active Sussex funded scheme will take place next Wednesday 27 September in Stanmer Park, Brighton. From 4 October, these walks will continue to be available at the discounted price of £10 per walk or, if paying £90 in advance, ten walks for the price of nine, i.e. £9 per walk. From April to September, a free programme of taster sessions, beginner courses and weekly instructed Nordic walks/refresher sessions in Stanmer Park, Brighton, are available for booking if you live in Sussex with a long-term health condition, i.e. you: have defined health risk factors or self-reported health problems, e.g. overweight, high blood pressure, back pain, stress, anxiety, mild to moderate depression, including if you are a carer or bereaved live with certain long-term/progressive conditions, e.g. asthma & other respiratory conditions, long COVID, ME/chronic fatigue, diabetes, cancer, heart disease, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, asthma, Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis & fibromyalgia

Group sessions
All legal measures to prevent coronavirus transmission have been removed in England by the UK government. However, over winter in particular, we request that all our clients: cancel their participation if they feel unwell with any of the nine recognised covid symptoms OR if they have a temperature/fever in order to prevent onward transmission of this or other respiratory viruses, like flu, when attending a Nordic walking group session follow the basic guidance described below before, during and after Nordic walking group sessions. ———————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————- The latest public health advice was issued
